how are you going give me back $15 for the VISA pmt that I had to make to file my ct return when I should have 1 free state e-file?

Using the TurboTax desktop editions there is a current $25 fee to e-file a state tax return. If you only paid $15 then you must have had TurboTax partner discount.

Purchasing the TurboTax desktop editions of Deluxe, Premier or Home & Business there is one free state program download included in the purchase price. There is not and has never been a free state e-file using the desktop editions for at least the last 20 years.

I did pay $15 to efile state last year. I usually do mail them, but decided to pay for the convenience. Can you identify who offered partner discounts? I was shocked by the $25 cost for this year, but saw most people indicated they paid $20 and then that offer apparently expired if not filed early - I don't even have all of my paperwork by then... And last year I was getting corrected forms from my employer in April!

Ah, I figured it out. I purchased at BJ's last year and they offered a $10 discount on the state efile. Wish I purchased there this year, but I bought through Amazon.
