      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can claim the spouse/&lt;SPAN style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255);color:rgb(45,51,56);font-size:13px;"&gt;common law partner amount if your partner is not in Canada. But you must be able to prove to the CRA that you are in a common-law relationship, and that you support them because they have low income/no income.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
