Is a State Tax Refund Reported on the FTR

Hello, If I used the standard deduction for to file my 2022 Federal and State tax returns in March of 2023 and got a partial refund of the state taxes I paid after I filed my state return. Is the state refund that I received, reported on my 2023 federal tax return as income? Thank you.

No, your state refund is only taxable if you itemized and deducted state income tax in that same tax year.
