You should use TurboTax Premier (either the online or CD/Download vesion). You could also use TurboTax Self-Employed (online) or Home & Business (CD/Download) if you are self-employed.

I have a 2020 deluxe CD. That I am using. I received income statement on a K-1. Do I need to upgrade to “Premier “ version to include the K-1 ... and can I upgrade my deluxe version to Premier on line

No, you cannot upgrade from CD or desktop to an online version, unfortunately. However, you can upgrade to Home and Business desktop version.

To upgrade within the desktop versions, here are the steps:

When you open up the desktop program
from the top, click on Help,
then scroll down to Upgrade TurboTax
