Do not choose to have the $20 deducted from your federal refund or you pay the extra fee to a third party bank that receives your refund from the IRS, takes out the $20 for TurboTax and that "refund processing fee" of $40 ($45 in CA) for itself. Pay the $20 upfront before you file with a credit or debit card. Or----file the state by mail and just pay for a stamp.
