Form 1065 for personal returns

I just updated my Turbo Tax Business and Turbo Tax Personal on my Windows computer. Turbo Tax said K-1 form 1065 for LLC's in California would be done today. I updated my business tax returns and e-filed them with no problem and printed out my 1065 forms.

However, when I went into my personal tax software and updated it, when I click on update to enter my 2023 1065 information, it says that the section is unavailable while we work on updates for recent tax law changes.

When will I be able to enter my 1065 into my personal taxes to file them?

Thanks for the info. I’ve been trying to figure out when this form would finally be ready. It is beyond belief that these aren’t ready by 1/31

Thanks. Do you know why it has been moved now to 2-21-24? I really need to file my taxes and came online today and Turbo Tax updated it to 2-21-24. Any reason why?

Generally, this happens when something is not finalized by the IRS when they say it will be, which delays TurboTax's ability to finalize it in the system. This happens because laws are changed or the way to do something has changed. Once the IRS has its forms updated, then TurboTax can get things in and moving.

Form available on IRS site https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1120ssk.pdf and here is the instruction link https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1065sk1.pdf but on TurboTax date has now changed to 2024-02-21 which is today. No updates still, and this prevents from finishing my taxes

I noticed that as well. When I woke up the morning of 2/14/2024 which was the original date, there was no update and the availability website had been changed to 2/21/2024 so I knew it had been moved. Today there is no update on Turbo Tax and no update on that website either so not sure why they haven't either pushed out the update or changed the date on the availability website.

I would guarantee that you will have the K-1 1065 available some time during the week of April 10th
