Wont let me finish until I 'check this entry' State tax refund worksheet Item Q Line 2 (state and local personal property taxes). Where am I supposed to find this information?? I have been asked this question before.

This error refers to the amount on line 5c of your IRS Schedule A for the previous year, which is state and local personal property taxes. That is usually the deductible amount of your vehicle registration fees.

If you did not itemize, you can enter 0. If you did itemize, just check your Schedule A from 2022 and fill in the number you had on line 5c.

In TurboTax Online, you are able to view the previous year's tax returns. You must be in the same account that was used last year.

Down the left hand side of the screen, click on Documents.
Click the down arrow to the right of View documents from: to select the prior year's tax returns.
Click Upload to access the document.
