topic Discrepancy between 8949 and 1099-B in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I received two 1099s this year due to the transition of Etrade to Morgan Stanley which occurred around 9-7-2023. After importing the stock transactions to TurboTax, i found discrepancies with the 1099 vs. the TurboTax produced Form 8949. First, all info regarding stock sales before 9-7-2023 (1st 1099) are correct. After 9-7, any stock transaction with an associated "wash sale" adjustment is incorrect. For example, something bought for $10 and sold for $5, shows GAIN of $5. Further, it shows a wash sale adjustment of $10. It should show a LOSS of $5 and a wash sale adjust cannot be more than the loss (in this case, a maximum of $5). Is this a coding error in TurboTax? But why does it only affect stock sales after 9-7-2023 (which would be info from the 2nd 1099)?
