If you made a payment with the extension you filed last year for your 2022 tax return, that does not get entered on your 2023 tax return. If you are filing your 2022 tax return now, it goes in Deductions and Credits >> Estimates & Other Income Taxes >> Other Income Taxes >> the first option will be Payment with your 2022 federal extension.

I owe 23k to IRS as of today for 2023 returns, but I am waiting for my K1 docs which I will get only on April. I don't want to pay penalty as it grows every month so planning to log into irs direct pay 4868 option

Then yes, enter it in the same place on the 2023 return after you make the payment.
