Software issue with Premier 2023

TurboTax asks if my husband or I win money or other prizes in 2023. I clicked Yes and then selected We did Not receive a W-2G. When I clicked Continue it if I received any gambling, lottery or other prizes BUT it does Not ask if my husband received any gambling, lottery or other prizes.

My husband won a gun in a raffle but did not receive a tax form for the prize.

Are you using the CD/Download desktop TurboTax software? It sounds like your software is not up-to-date. Update the software and try again.

How do I update my TurboTax Desktop software program?

Yes I am using the CD/Download desktop TurboTax software. I have checked and it is up-to-date.

If you are filing a joint return with your spouse, answer the questions under the gambling topic for both of you. You have the option to report gambling/lottery winnings not reported on a W-2G and/or other prizes and awards that didn't come from gambling.

Click the Yes button for either or both of the choices and enter the total amount you both received. Because your winnings weren't reported on Form W2-G, you don't need to enter the amounts separately.
