How do I fix error code F8863-528-03?

This error code says I entered a SS # wrong or that someone else used it on their form in the same year. I checked and all my entered info is correct.

check with your child to see if they filed and took the education credits on their return.

if the person is claimed as your dependent they can not claim the credit - only the parent(s) can. they will need to amend their return.

the other option is for the parent(s) not to claim the child as a dependent in which case they claim the credits - the parent(s) can't.
