If your return was already accepted you will need to wait until the amended forms are released and then you will need to Amend Your Return to add in the additional W-2's. Do not do anything until your return has been fully processed as the IRS may catch the missing W-2's and make adjustments to your return.

NO. Stop. You can not add more after you file. You need to do an Amended 1040X return. So take out anything you've added. The after the IRS is done processing the first return and you get the refund, then you can amend. You have to start the amended return with the return that was accepted. Oh the amended return won't be ready until Feb 15.

Don't change anything.

You'll have to wait until the end of Feb to start the amendment process to add that in.

AND

Wait for your original file to be processed, and refund issued (or balance due paid in). Only then should you start the amendment process.

AND get a copy of your original tax file BEFORE you amend...once you amend the original file will be gone...and you need to keep a copy of that original.
