I still can't download Pennsylvania forms into TT for windows. I just get into a loop, but never get the forms!

See if this helps:

To resolve, close TurboTax and then:

Download the TTStateCleanup.zip file and save it to your desktop or other easy-to-find location.
Double-click to open the zip folder.
Extract the contents of the folder to your desktop and open the extracted folder.
Right-click the downloaded file (TTCleanStates.exe) and select Run as Administrator.
Select your version (Personal or Business).
Select your state from the dropdown menu and choose Remove (if you're having problems with multiple states, choose Remove all States).
Once the tool finishes removing the state return(s), close it and reopen TurboTax.
Follow the prompts to update TurboTax at the prompt. It should start downloading your state.
- If it doesn't, click the State Taxes tab and download it from there.

If this fix fails:

Uninstall TurboTax.
Double-click the CD or download file to start the reinstallation process.
Select Next on the welcome screen.
Select I Agree on the License Agreement.
On the next screen, where you see the install location, select Browse and change it to the location where TurboTax was originally installed (normally, it's something like C:Program Files (x86)TurboTaxDeluxe 20XX).
Select Install after changing the location.
Open TurboTax after installation and proceed to your state taxes.

If the preceding steps don't resolve this issue, restart your computer in Selective Startup and run the tool again.

Thanks for the reply. However, the problem is that this version of ttcleanstates cleans the 2022 state forms not the 2023. I'm looking for a newer version.

I am having the same problem for MD State - I'm stuck in the loop.

This solution is for 2022 State Clean. We need it for 2023 and fast. Deadline are coming up fast and we paid TT a lot of money over the years and this year to have error free software. Needs Fix NOW!

It looks like your link used to take you to the download I need: 2023 Clean States Tool. However, it appears TurboTax has subsequently updated this page for the 2024 software. But I still need 2023. Can anyone direct me to where I can download the 2023 version?

Thanks. However, when I clicked on the 2023 link, it took me to Google Drive where I got a message that I am not authorized to access it. The page had a pop-up box to submit a request for access which I submitted but I have never had a reply.

Can you try opening the link in an incognito browser? When I click on it I don't get what you describe.

That worked!! I was able to download the file successfully.

AND, after I ran the Tool, it fixed the problem I had been having with State downloads.

I have been fighting this issue for over a week and you have finally resolved it!! Thank you, thank you.
