TurboTax 2023 running slow on MacBook Pro

TurboTax 2023 is running very slow on my Intel MacBook Pro 2017 i5-8GB. There is a noticeable 3-5s delay between interview pages driving me crazy. I also have a MacBook Air M2 16GB and tried it out today - the delay is completely gone, software works great. I can't believe this CPU frequency or memory deficiency but can believe a code overhaul for MacBooks attempting to optimize for M-series processors.

Do Intel based MacBooks suffer a performance degradation with TurboTax 2023 over TurboTax 2022?

No, I circumvented the problem by buying a new MacBook Pro M3 which does not use an Intel processor. Clearly Turbo Tax for the Mac has been optimized for the new M-Series processors leaving the older Intel based systems in the dust. Not happy that Turbo Tax took this route, but very happy with my new MacBook :-).
