If you are a W2 employee you can not deduct job expenses. If you are using the Online version you can start with the Free Edition and it will ask you to upgrade if you need to.

If you want to buy the Desktop program you can buy Deluxe. All the Desktop programs have the same forms, you just get more help in the higher versions.

VolvoGirl provided great information for TurboTax online products. You can start using a basic product then you will be asked to Upgrade during the preparation process, if necessary. However, here is a Comparison Chart for the Desktop products.
