If you're being charged $40, you must have chosen the option to deduct your TurboTax fees from your federal refund.

This option is called Pay With My Refund (also known as Refund Processing Service). There’s a $40 processing fee charged by a third-party bank handling the transaction.

AVOID that extra $40 fee by paying your TT fees before you file using your own credit or debit card!!!!!!!

This is false advertisement. You should say final cost using turbox tax is $89. Not $39, i asked turbox tax ai and it kept saying additional upgrades. What additional upgrade am I using if I reject all the upgrade offers? Why are there different systems to process every line on the standard W9?
