      <description>&lt;P&gt;If he did not live in your home for the entire year or his income in 2023 was $4.700 or more you cannot claim him as a dependent on your tax return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did your BF live with you&lt;EM&gt; all year&lt;/EM&gt; in 2023 and have less than $4700 of income -- not counting any Social Security?&amp;nbsp; If so, he might be a "qualifed relative" dependent for whom you can get a $500 credit for other dependents.&lt;/P&gt;
