      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received a Form W-2G while in Las Vegas, (I live in CA).&amp;nbsp; The form box 13 is blank but Turbo Tax keeps giving me an error message, stating I need to enter a State and identification no.&amp;nbsp; How do I proceed?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am not sure I understand.&amp;nbsp; Box 13 is "State/Payer's state identification no."&amp;nbsp; This box is blank.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I only have the Federal TIN number on the form.&amp;nbsp; There are winnings reported in box 14 and 16.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px;"&gt;Since there was no state id number provided on your W2-G, just enter the Federal ID number in that box to satisfy the TurboTax requirement that something be filled in before you can proceed. &amp;nbsp;It will not affect the outcome of your tax return.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
