if you get periodic statements of the account call the number. It may be that they do not partner with Turbotax and thus manual entry may be needed.

If your payer isn't listed as an import partner, you can still enter your 1099-R in TurboTax, it's just a little more effort.

Here's how to do it manually:

Open your return.
Select Federal, then Wages & Income.
Scroll down to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), under Retirement Plans and Social Security, select Start or Revisit to the right.
Answer Yes to Did you get a 1099-R in 2023?
On the screen Let's import your tax info, scroll to the bottom and select Change how I enter my form.
The next screen will show you additional options for importing your 1099-R form. You can select one, or scroll to the bottom and select Type it in myself. Either way, follow the on-screen instructions to enter your form.
