Hello,

I have tried uploading my 1099-G and also using the QR code to take a photo but nothing works. Any advice is appreciated.

I confirm my 1099-G is in PDF form.

What box is it in? What's it for? Unemployment or a state tax refund? Should be just as fast and easy to manually type it in.

Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal on left

Wages & Income at top

Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

At the bottom pick I'll type it in myself

i actually figured most of it out but i do not have illinois state identification number. do you have this? i am working with a copy of my 1099-G. It does not have all the boxes on it

It should at least like box 1 or 2. So what's it for? Unemployment or a state tax refund you got in 2023?
