A 1099G has nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act. If you had health insurance through Affordable Care you would need a 1095A. You say that you had health insurance through your employer so you do not need a 1095A.

A 1099G could be for unemployment compensation, or a state or local tax refund, paid family leave, a government grant.....

Where in TurboTax are you being asked for a 1099-G? xmasbaby0 is right that the 1099-G has nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act.

What kind of BCBS insurance did you have? Was it purchased through the ACA Marketplace? Help us understand your situation.
