No Box 1 in 1099-G Section in TurboTax Desktop

Hi all,

I have received unemployment compensation (paid family leave / PFL) at year 2023. There's some amount in Box 1 of the 1099-G form from the state of CA (1st attached image), but I couldn't find a way to enter this in TurboTax Desktop (premier version), as there's no Box 1 in the 1099-G section...

Any advice/suggestion would be appreciated.

You are in the wrong place. Unemployment has a separate entry area. Get out of this area and go back.

Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal

Wages & Income at top

Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button
