Can't Open TurboTax 2023 on macOS Sonoma 14.3 (latest version)

Hey Everyone,

I attempted to install TurboTax 2023 on my MacBook Pro OS Sonoma Version 14.3 with an M1 chip. When I go to open the app it bounces on the dock for 5-6 seconds, and then disappears. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Intuit Customer Service troubleshooting and they could not help me resolve the problem. I spent close to another hour on the phone with Apple Customer Service who told me to contact the 3rd-party developer (i.e., Intuit). I have tried all of the recommendations on both the Apple Support and Intuit on forums, with absolutely no luck.

Has anyone with a 2020 (or newer) MacBook Pro been able to successfully install TurboTax 2023? I even tried uninstalling the 2023 version and reinstalled 2022 TurboTax, but it does not work either.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have tried numerous times over several days, and with 2 long phone calls with customer service reps with no success to install TT2023 on my Mac running OS Sonoma 14.3.1 with M2 Pro processor. Customer service reps said I needed to hard wire my internet connection - done but did not help. I turned off all firewalls and virus/malware probrams and still no success. Repeatedly uninstalled, reinstalled, shutdown, rebooted, etc., all with no success. Customer Service finally sent me a form to fill out for a refund for the Deluxe version I purchased and downloaded. I then went and purchased a CD version of the Premier version and repeatedly tried installing that with no success. My guess is that TT2023 is incompatible with OS Sonoma and/or the M2 Pro processor.

Luckily I had my 8 year old MacBook with OS Monterey 12.7.3 installed and was able to successfully install TT2023 on that machine.
