Import of 2022 H&R Block Tax .pdf into 2023 Turbotax on Mac Not Working

Import of 2022 H&R Block Tax .pdf into 2023 Turbotax on Mac is not working. PDF is not password protected and .pdf in on local computer, so no explanation other than TT is not able to parse a standard .pdf. Spoke with TT product support over a week ago; they acknowledged there is a bug for Mac only with TT 2023 importing H&B Block .pdf returns from 2022. They said a patch is expected soon. As of today, still no fix, so ready to return TT 2023 product as defective. Also posted this on Reddit.

But

Don't know if they changed it this year, but Historically, it only transferred Personal Info (names, SSN, Address) and AGI...nothing else.

So it was hardly worth the effort for something you could finish in 5 minutes from scratch.

Thanks for the info! That's not the impression I got from customer support, but if true and I can't bring in where I left off in 2022 with real estate depreciation calculations, I might as well stick with H&R Block.

Hopefully someone who works at TT will confirm ground truth.
