The IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 returns until January 29. So if you are trying to get the advance, you will not get any money until sometime on or after 1-29.

One of the options you can select when you are ready to file is to get a refund advance loan, You do not receive any money until your e-file has been accepted by the IRS—-and the IRS will not begin to accept e-files until January 29.

The IRS will start accepting and processing returns for the 2023 tax year on January 29, 2024.
