Not sure what moving has to do with it--please explain. Do you have taxable income to enter on a tax return---from any time during 2023? Are you asking what to do on your federal return or are you asking what to do on a state tax return? We cannot see your screen so we do not know what you are trying to do.

Q. How do I go about filing my taxes?

More info is needed. If you moved from one state to another, we need the names of both states. Not having received any income, while living in the new state, does not necessarily get you out of filing a state tax return for that state. The rules for state filing vary.

If you received unemployment compensation, we need to know when you received it (before or after the move or some of both) and which state paid it.

You do not have to file a Missouri return if you are not required to file a federal return.

If you are required to file a federal return, you may not have to file a Missouri return if:

You are a resident and have less than $1,200 of Missouri adjusted gross income;

You are a nonresident with less than $600 of Missouri income; OR

Your Missouri adjusted gross income is less than the amount of your standard deduction plus your exemption amount.

A part-year MO resident is treated as a nonresident but may determine his tax as if a resident for the entire year.

As a part-year resident, you may take either the Missouri resident credit (MO-CR) or the Missouri income percentage (MO-NRI), whichever is to your benefit.

I (not a MO expert) interpret all that to mean that you do not need to file a MO return, if you MO source income is less than $600.

For Kansas filing requirements, see page 3 at:
