    <description>&lt;P&gt;I called them back and just like you said, they gave me a new code for 2020 Business and it activated immediately. It appears that my previous problem with the 2019 Business install is not as easy of a fix. Is there a way to copy the activation file/registry entry/etc from the machine that has been authorized to the new machine?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Which tax year?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If 2019 desktop software...the TTX validation service appears to be shut down for that year.&amp;nbsp; They aren't supporting 2019 anymore.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 2020, 2021,2022 desktop installations are still working&amp;nbsp; (I installed those on a new laptop last week).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2023 should also work, but I won't try that myself for another month or two,&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I am moving to a laptop, and I still have 2019 Bursiness running on my desktop, and I am going to wipe the drive once I get everything transferred, so I do not need my license to work on the desktop once it works on the laptop, is there a way to transfer the already validated license over to the laptop? I was able to download the S/W from TT using my &lt;EM&gt;License Code&lt;/EM&gt; but the &lt;STRONG&gt;same&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;code throws the exact same error when entered for &lt;EM&gt;Activate TurboTax&lt;/EM&gt; Button. This is a new (never been used) install and I have tried copy/paste/typing several times. Trying to contact CS through the maze has proven unproductive.&amp;nbsp; NOTE: This is &lt;EM&gt;TT Deluxe 2020 Activation&lt;/EM&gt; screen on Win 11.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I finally got a support rep who was able to understand the problem.&amp;nbsp; Yesterday (28 Dec 23) she was able to use my info &amp;amp; code to generate a new "sale" with a new activation code.&amp;nbsp; I copied the new activation code and pasted it into the activation input field and Wham Bam, Thank You Ma'am - I am up and running.&amp;nbsp; She says they only support 3 years of product, so if the person you get on the phone doesn't understand, ask for an escalation.&amp;nbsp; The number I called is [phone number removed] - 1st fellow was eager to help but was uncomfortable trying to bypass the system in place.&amp;nbsp; Turns out my activation code got changed to include a lower-case letter, but the input field (for ALL Intuit products!) forces everything to upper-case.&amp;nbsp; The new code worked immediately!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That is EXACTLY what happened to my 2019 Turbo Tax file.&amp;nbsp; In updating to Windows 11 on my new Laptop, the TT code ends in little z, not Z as in the CD.&amp;nbsp; No way to change it.&amp;nbsp; You must call support to help activate your TT 2019 program...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There is NO FIX for TT2019. According to all my calls to Intuit, this is NO LONGER supported. They said they were sorry. That’s it. They only support current year plus past 3 years. So their ads currently running on TV, saying they support the 7 years IRS can audit, if you’re locked out of 2019 and earlier years, that’s tuff. IRS will have to supply you &amp;nbsp;the forms. I WAS SHOCKED AT ALL THIS. So just remember, next time you upgrade to a new windows system, you’ll only get support for 3 past years, NOT ALL the others you try to import.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
