HOW CAN I OPEN LAST YEAR'S RETURN SO I CAN SAVE IT AS A PDF?

I'm currently using TT Premier 2023. Last year I used TT Premier 2022.

Now I'd like to open last year's Return (2022) so I can then save it as a PDF with the Worksheets (I currently have it saved without the Worksheets).

When I open it in TT'23 the only option I see is to Import it.

How can I just open it and then save it as a PDF?

I am sorry I was not clearer - I use the Windows Desktop version, not the ONLINE version.

I use TT Premier Desktop Windows, same for last year.

(I had seen that article, but it seems to apply to users of ONLINE TURBOTAX.)

You didn't save the pdf when you filed 2022? You would have to launch the 2022 program and open your return to save the pdf now. Do you still have 2022 installed? Just open it.

If you don't still have the 2022 program and have the .tax2022 file you could try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at

I finally found a backup file of the complete 22 PDF.

Question: You mentioned using TT2022. I thought that the 2023 installation deletes any prior TT program?

I mention that because I do not see TT2022 on my desktop, only TT2023, so I assume I'd need to Uninstall TT2023 first?...

No you or TT doesn't have to uninstall prior versions. I have all my years still installed and can open both programs at the same time.

After using TT for over twenty years I've learned something new - I never knew the prior TT programs were still installed.
