      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you did not have health insurance coverage in 2023 you do not need a Form 1095-A for 2023. Just applying for coverage in 2023 does not require a 1095-A if the coverage did not take effect in 2023.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you did not have coverage through the marketplace in 2023, then you would not have a 1095A and would not include anything on your federal return regarding health insurance. &amp;nbsp;For this year, you will simply skip that section.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When you file your 2024 federal return, you will then include the 1095-A. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
