      <title>Defective disk?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ordered TurboTax from Amazon.com, specifying "disk."&amp;nbsp; When I insert disk it gets three quarters of way through copying software to my Applications folder, then ejects disk with error code -43, "The operation can't be completed because one or more required items can't be found.&amp;nbsp; iMac running OS 12.6.3, Monterey.&amp;nbsp; Apple USB SuperDrive.&amp;nbsp; Happens repeatedly.&amp;nbsp; No evidence of damage to disk, though.&amp;nbsp; I have been buying TurboTax for many years, always disk version, and this is the first time the disk would not copy the software to my iMac.&amp;nbsp; Wondering if anyone else has had this problem.&amp;nbsp; Plan to return disk to Amazon.com as defective and request an identical replacement product.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I highly recommend you use the optional download method ... that cd is a useless piece of plastic which has only the beta version of the program installation files on it and the program needs to be updated the minute you install it&amp;nbsp; so why don't you just download the program to begin with ???&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your reply.&amp;nbsp; I didn't realize that I could use the code that came with the disk version to alternatively download the software; that's good to know.&amp;nbsp; However, because I purchased on Amazon.com and they have such an easy and fast return policy, I returned my defective disk and got a replacement disk order, which is suppose to arrive tomorrow, January 3, 2024.&amp;nbsp; It will interesting to see if that second disk installs without difficulty.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Second Turbotax disk from Amazon.com installed fine. &amp;nbsp;So it was a defective disk on the first order. &amp;nbsp;First time I have had a defective disk in about twenty years of using Turbotax.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
