Turbotax said online that the VA state forms would be available on Dec 14. I tried to download them, and Turbotax said that my software was UpToDate (although it was obvious that the VA state software had not downloaded). The responses online to this problem (lots of people are having it) is a vague reference that someday the VA forms will be updated. The answer should be that no-one can download the software now because it is not there and give us a date when it will be there. This is really frustrating as it is working totally different from other years when the software just said the VA forms are not ready yet. The responses this year make it look like the user is in error and we cannot tell whether it will eventually download or not.

Yes, there is a problem with the TTX software "Telling you that the state is available" in the first place.

The software fix is to have TTX engineers correct their software to tell you that your state is not available to you at this time.

The vast majority of state software sets will not be available until well into January of 2024.....

If your state downloads earlier...it will likely be last year's forms and be full of bugs...
