The 2021 AGI is not needed since the 2022 tax return can now only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

The AGI was only needed for an e-filed tax return.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

You will need to print, sign and date the Form 1040 on page 2 of the form. Include with the Form 1040 all forms and/or schedules which have an Attachment Sequence Number located in the upper right corner of the form or schedule. Also include with the mailed return all Forms W-2 and 1099 you received which have taxes withheld reported on the form.

Sorry---ironically ---- Your AGI no longer matters. You only needed it to e-file, and e-filing for 2022 is permanently closed. You have to file 2022 by mail. Print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
