Switching to Credit Karma

So let me get this straight. I can no longer use Mint alone but MUST switch to Credit Karma?? I just tried Karma and it's useless to me. Is there some way to revert back to just good old Mint?

Mint is permanently closing on 01/01/2024. There are other applications you can use such as Quicken.

You are not required to switch to Credit Karma. You can use any personal finance and budgeting software that you like, or not use any personal finance and budgeting software at all. But you cannot continue to use Mint alone, or together with anything else. Mint is going away. There is no way to revert to "good old Mint" because Mint will not exist anymore.

Hi, I agreed to transfer my data over to Credit KArma and my net worth went from a large positive balance to -$25K, and my data was clearly not all synced. I keep trying to get back to my old Mint page so I can record my info from Mint and make sure I have a record of all of my accounts to then try and resync directly into Credit Karma, or at least to have for my own future reference.

Is there a way for me to get back to my old Mint account after I already pressed the button to transfer to Credit Karma?

I'm having the same exact issue. I clicked a button to transfer my data to credit karma and now I can no longer access my mint data. I get this message: You’re in! Your account is active and your financial info is now at Credit Karma. Head over to Credit Karma and navigate to Net Worth to explore the new ways you can track your financial progress. Have questions? Contact member support here.

Credit Krama is not useful for my needs and I'd like to get my info back on to Mint, so how do I transfer my info from Credit Karma back to Mint, while I try and figure out another financial management tool to use?

I fully agree with the above assessment. Credit Karma DOES NOT replace the most important features of Mint. The inability to review and identify transactions defeats the purpose of using a financial program, I used Mint for tracking family finances. Quick Books is for businesses and self-employed individuals. Mint was perfect for my purposes and I had been using it for several years. I am not sure what Credit Karma’s purpose is other than to advertise additional credit cards to me that would actually lower my credit score if I applied. Mint updated my accounts everyday, Credit Karma updates on a schedule I have yet to figure out, but it is definitely slower than I would prefer.
I agree with the other response that I would rather pay to have Mint, rather than struggle with Credit Karma. I feel Intuit has abandoned the folks who depended on Mint to manage family finances and offered a poor excuse for a replacement. I challenge Intuit to survey former Mint users to solicit their honest opinions as to whether it was a good business decision to replace Mint with Credit Karma, I certainly vote NO!

agree. they dropped a bunch of accounts on the floor during the conversion and I can’t get any help from ck support. Total cluster.

i would at least like to get a dump of my old accounts from mint so I can keep track of them

So, I’m not the only one having trouble? When I click the email saying I need to switch to Credit Karma it just opens my Mint Homepage with no direction. I go to help and search switching the Credit Karma, and it just brings me here

Creditkarma is basically useless unless you want to get a hundred credit cards; I tried to move when first announced - so many broken links, ads, useless pages, popups, etc, that I quit trying. Recently tried again....even worse///
