Sorry----your OS will not meet the system requirements for the 2023 desktop software. You will be able to use the online software if you cannot upgrade your OS. The online software will be available in early December.

As I have a MacBook pro with macOS big sur 11.7.10, and have already purchased the 2023 deluxe (Costco), can I still use the online version without paying extra.

Sorry---the license code is only for the CD/download. You cannot use it to pay for online TurboTax. Try to return it to Costco for a refund since you bought it there. Then use online software and pay for it accordingly. The pricing structure is very different for online.
