Hi Antanelle,

Turbotax has a great W4 calculator which you can which will create the W4 form for you:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/calculators/w4/

From the information you gave me, your income level filing as head of household with 2 dependents is telling you that you do not need to have any tax withheld from your pay.

You can adjust your W4 to have more tax withheld from your pay . This would result in a refund. However, withholding extra from your pay will reduce the amount of pay that you take home in your paycheck.

You may be eligibe for other credits which would result in an income such as the child tax credit or the earned income credit.

I want to receive a refund for my taxes. I'm single and I have 2 dependents. I usually file head of house hold. With this new form it ask me to put what I claim on my form (head of house hold) and the number of dependents. Base on Step 3 my employer says federal taxes deducted from my pay will be 0. Please help me understand that.
