      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello I just wanted to clarify that the custodial parent (the one the dependent lived with the longest) can release the dependent exemtion to the other parent if they wanted to, here is an article explaining it in detail.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
