What happens when you try to e-file? Did you pay your TurboTax fees? You cannot file without paying your fees. Did it ask you how you will pay your tax due? Did you choose a method of payment? You can just say you will mail a check and then pay by whatever method you really want to use.

If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.
