Not unless the reason that your parents couldn’t be your dependent because of these exceptions.

An individual you would have been allowed to claim as a dependent except one of these applied:

He or she received gross income of $4,400 or more in the year.

He or she filed a joint return for the year.

And if you can claim the medical, you can only deduct the amount of medical that's over 7.5% of your AGI. And then all your Itemized Deductions have to be more than the Standard Deduction to get any benefit.

For 2022 the standard deduction amounts are:

Single 12,950 + 1,750 or 65 and over or blind (14,700)

HOH 19,400 + 1,750 for 65 and over or blind

Joint 25,900 + 1,400 for each 65 and over or blind (28,700)

Married filing Separate 12,950 + 1,400 for 65 and over or blind

My parents are not from USA and were visitors and hence they are not my dependent. During their stay with me they had some medical visits and I paid for it and that’s why I wanted to know if I still can use that for any tax purposes. I think mostly no but just wanted to confirm.

Sorry---no----money you spent on your parents' medical bills is not deductible for you since they are not your dependents. Essentially you gave them a gift by paying those expenses, and gifts to individuals are not deductible.

You can only deduct medical expenses for a person you can claim as a dependent, or who passes all the tests to be a dependent except the taxable income test. Since your parents not US residents or citizens, they can't pass the dependent tests, so you can't deduct their expenses.
