I have no way of paying for my refund I’ve been homeless and use my ex husband mail address and there for I can not pay for my refund

You can have the fees deducted from your refund if it is big enough to cover the fees and the extra $40 service charge. Or you can get a prepaid VISA card like at WalMart to use like a credit card.

Or you can file for free at the IRS if your income is under $73,000. See the IRS Free File options

You are posting from a paid version of the software. Do you qualify to use one of the free software versions available on the IRS site instead of using TurboTax?

-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free. There are 8 free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

As far as how to receive your refund----the IRS can mail a check to the address on your tax return. Do NOT try to use someone else's bank account to receive your refund or the bank will reject it and send it back to the IRS.

If you are low income, there are other tax web sites that are completely free.

If you want to use Turbotax, you can buy a prepaid debit card from a grocery store, drug store, etc. and load it with enough cash to pay your fees, then use that on the Turbotax web site.

If you expect to receive a tax refund, you will also need a bank account to receive it by direct deposit, the IRS will not deposit it into someone else's bank account. Some debit cards can also act as bank accounts to receive direct deposits. If you don't have a bank account for direct deposit, the IRS will mail a paper check for any tax refund to the mailing address that you put on your tax return.

@mitchf519 the IRS has the VITA program that will do these taxes for you for free. This website will populate with all the places nationwide comes January, as they operate from late January - April 15th in most cases.
