The question is if you were active military and in a designated combat zone in 2022 and received combat pay, why is that amount not on your 2022 military W-2 in box 12 with a code of Q?

You should get a corrected W-2 from DFAS - https://www.dfas.mil/legislativeaffairs/taxstatements/#:~:text=Call%20the%20Military%20Pay%20customer,request%20a%20corrected%20W%2D2.
