Turbo Tax does not allow me to Amend a Previous Return for 2022

I filed my 2022 return. It was accepted by the IRS and all states. I now need to amend my return. However, Turbo Tax does not give me the "Amend a Previous Return" option. This option was suggested by this forum but I do not see the option on my account.

If you used the Desktop program you first need to update your return with the filing status so it knows it was filed and accepted.

Open your return and go up to menu item
File>electronic Filing>Check Electronic Filing Status
Then save your return. Then close and reopen the program. Then update the program before you open your return, go up to Online->Check for Updates.

And before you amend you should have saved a copy of your file so you have the original. Go up to File->Save As and give it another name.

Federal Taxes -or- Personal (for H&B)
Other Tax Situations
last section, Other Tax Forms
Amend A Return - Click the Start or Update button

Not sure what you mean by not seeing amend on your "account" --- you are posting from the CD/download, so you open up your desktop software and go to Other Tax Situations. Then scroll down on that screen to find the choice to amend a tax return.
