Ok ... did you buy the downloaded/cd program but then used the ONLINE version by mistake ? If so did you PAY the online fee ? If so you can get a refund of the unused CD version. To submit a refund request online ... How do I request a refund for my TurboTax product?

How much were you charged? Was it the $25 to efile a state return?

When you filled out your return did you go online and log in? And see a black column down the left side with the menu items, Federal, State, File etc. That is Online.

The Windows Desktop program is blue bar menu bar across the top and the menu items like Federal, State, Review, File.

In the Desktop program it is $25 ($20 early before March 1) to efile a state return. Or you can print and mail state for free.
