Can't get rid of Form 2441 in TurboTax 2022 desktop

I have a return where info was entered into the Child and Dependent Care Expenses during the interview but TurboTax determined that I wasn't eligible. So I deleted the form. But it keeps getting regenerated when switching from Forms mode to Step by Step mode. I've done the different things suggested in previous year posts about this problem (which seems to have been a problem for many tax years) such as going all the way through the You and Your Family portion of the interview again and then exiting and restarting TT but the form just won't stop being regenerated. And long as it gets regenerated TT won't allow eFiling.

Any suggestions of what else to try???

Thanks for the link. I've read that one and several others about this issue and nothing I've tried has worked. The form just keeps regenerating. So at least for me, none of that seems to work...

Any other suggestions???

If you are using the TurboTax software installed on your personal computer -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Deductions & Credits

Click on I'll choose what I work on

Scroll down to You and Your Family

On Child and Dependent Care Benefits, click on start or update

Click on No for Did you pay for child and dependent care in 2022?

Now click on Forms in the upper right of the desktop program screen (Windows)

In Forms mode locate the Form 2441 on the left side of the program screen. Click on the Form 2441 to open the form. Click on Delete Form at the bottom of the screen.

Note - If you entered a W-2 with an amount of employer provided dependent care benefits in box 10 of the W-2, the Form 2441 cannot be deleted since you received the benefits for your dependent.

Thanks for the further suggestion. There are no W-2s in this return. Just business income. I tried to do the rest of your suggestions again this morning but it still just keep generating the form again...

P.S.S. I solved it. There were some numbers on the children info worksheet that I needed to change to $0. 🙂
