Filed 2022 taxes fine with Mac, now won't open

I downloaded, completed my taxes and filed them on my Mac with no problems. Now I need to go back in and download a copy of my 2022 taxes and TurboTax 2022 will not open. If I uninstall and then reinstall will I lose my tax files? Side note: 2019, 2020 and 2021 versions will still all open on my Mac, it is just 2022 which seems very odd.

Knowing whether removing TurboTax will also your tax files is a great question!

Luckily, TurboTax will not remove your tax files or PDF's if you remove and reinstall TurboTax on your MAC.

This is a known issue being worked on.

I did try that and it did not work. Same error message appeared after it wanted to check for and install updates.
