How to I amend my federal & stare returns to add a new Schedule K-1?

I am preparing a 1040x return to add a new Schedule k-1 for a partnership to my return. The new Schedule k-1 did not add any additional income, credits, losses or deductions to my return. Since the 1040x did not change my reported income, deductions, credits losses or taxes, do I need to file an amendment due to the new Schedule K-1 to my Illinois state return?

If the new information did not change anything on the returns you have already filed you do NOT need to bother filing amended returns as nothing actually changed.
