Hi Gus4021, thank you for coming to the forum.

The current W-4 should be the starting point in figuring out the withholding of your wife job with state of Missouri.

The tax withholding would vary depending if you have income or other income to consider.

Form W-4 Employee’s Withholding Certificate

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf

Could be as simple as fill out Step 1 and sign or add step 2 for multiple jobs or if you work as well.

Step 3 and Step 4 should be filled out for the highest paying job.

Highly recommend to use

W-4 Calculator 2023 (TurboTax) to see how adjusting your W-4 impacts the taxes you do in 2024.

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/calculators/w4/

This app will even produce a W-4 for you.

Depending on your goal when filing tax year 2023 tax in early part of 2024 - approx just right amount of tax paid, or you like to receive a refund, please evaluate tax liability vs. tax paid along the way.

IRS Tax Withholding Estimator

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/tax-withholding-estimator

I hope the above helps, and wish you a great day today.
