Depending on which state you filed with, the refund tracking tool may be on the state's department of revenue website.

Otherwise, if you filed using TurboTax, please give us a call at 1-800-446-8848, and we'll be happy to help you track it down.

Hello RuthannCroda. I am happy to help. Finding where your refunds are depends are differing factors such as,

1. When did you file

2. Are you looking for the current tax year refund

3. What state are you in

If you filed a federal tax return you can check this link https://www.irs.gov/refunds and using some basic information from your return you can find out the status. IRS refunds typically take 21 days to process.

Depending on the state you are in you can click here on the list of members https://taxadmin.org/fta-members/ and then click on your state and check for the status of your refund, or simply google "Where's my refund" and the states name and that should get you to the correct place.

If you filed with Turbo Tax you can call one of our representatives and we can look up your account to confirm if the return was accepted, the amount the refund was supposed to be based on the return and if you used the option to pay with your refund we can check if that refund transfer has been processed. If the IRS is holding up the return for some reason, Turbo Tax will not be able to tell you what that reason is but you can check your account at IRS.gov for correspondence or call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040.
