topic 1040X from 2021 in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

When I did taxes this year for 2022, I realized that my NOL was incorrect on my 2021 return and I did an amendment prior to filing my 2022 taxes. I thought I e-filed on January 23, 2023 but when I review in IRS amended return status it does not show anything. Is there a place in turbo tax that I can see that the amended return was filed? Should I mail the 1040X? (I am getting a refund for 2022, but did. not have a refund for 2021)

If e-filed it should be listed on the 2021 software as a document filed.

Your 2022, 2021, or 2020 federal Form 1040-X amended return may be eligible for electronic filing if the original return was successfully e-filed using TurboTax. However, there is a chance your return cannot be electronically filed. If this happens, you'll need to print and mail your tax return.

You can also request an account transcript for 2021 from the IRS to verify whether the amended return was processed. Get Transcript | Internal Revenue Service
