TurboTax is preventing me from e-filing my federal return, due to an issue with Form 7203. TurboTax is claiming that I cannot have a gain in Part ! and a loss in Part III. That is not true. But because TurboTax thinks otherwise, it will not let me complete the e-filing process. (The "loss" in Part III is for charitable contributions, which is a legitimate offset against the shareholder cost basis.) How do I get this resolved?

You need to ensure you are entering the charitable contributions on line 42 and not on a line that reports a "loss".

I definitely entered the charitablle contributions on Line 42 of the form. Something seems to be wrong with this year's TurboTax interpretation of Form 7203. I had the same types of entries on Form 7203 last year - a net profit and a charitable contributions offset - and TurboTax gave no errors then. This seeming glitch in TurboTax prevented me from e-filing my return, which I am not happy about.
