&lt;P&gt;If you are claiming them, and they have only social security for income, then no, they do not need to file a return. &amp;nbsp;This would be true even if you did not claim them.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If I claim parents as dependents, will they be able to continue to receive EBT and medicad? they have no other income other than social security. Additional question, do they even have to file tax returns?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
